阿水的歪理

while sitting on the toilet-bowl some day, i was pondering why and how can public/office toilets be in such an undesirable state...how often do people really take a second look or even a glance at the "mess" they create? perhaps people are simply disgusted or turned off by their own output thus merely do it, cant wait to rid it, leave it asap and not want to do anything with it anymore. if only we had bothered to stare a second more at our own shit, we would have noticed the mess, the stains and the smears and out of civic-mindedness wipe them away or ensure that it is flushed off proper...if all that needs to be done were done, other people would not have to encounter our aftermath, clear/clean our shit for us and the toilets will definitely be a better place to be in...

oh well...isnt this like the world we are in?

so people and whoever is reading this, may i appeal to you to pls bother to care about your own output. literally, your output tells alot about your state of well-being - whether you're hydrated enough, whether you're having sufficient fruits and veg etc. as such, isn't it to our best interests that we be aware of our bodies and whether we're functioning proper? we are no doctors yes, but certainly, the only person who should be responsible for ourselves is no one but ourselves.

and in extrapolating this to our daily lives and our work, lets start to take pride in our "product" - even if it is crap in, junk out, we should be accountable for it. if you dont want to use a dirty toilet-bowl, start so with yourself and maintain cleanliness of the one you use. if you're not so lucky and encounter a dirty toilet-bowl, dont make it dirtier - clean it before using and after using make sure it is clean for the next person. like the chinese saying goes, "己所不欲勿施于人".

really, we dont need superheros to see the difference. it begins with us - so let's get started!
