In less than 24 hours, i should be settling in for the night on an A380, probably deciding between in-flight entertainment or face mask plus power sleep. I could also be thinking of the choice of airline food A or food B which is to be served 2 to 4 hours later.

Whatever it is, I could imagine myself basking in my little own contentment of having to snuggle in this superjambo (albeit in an E-class seat) without having to pay a single cent. But alas, me being me, could also be part dreading the southern winter, part anxious of being a yellow minority and most likely downcast by the fact that i am now henceforth far away from my bunny hole and bunny friends for the next 3 months.

Do not get me wrong nor let the little-me apprehension cloud the truth - the truth that this trip is definitely something that i have always wanted, those little big some things that i have been working for since i took my first stride as an economically active being. Certainly, this will be a trip that is more than what its incentives entail and of course add value to not just the monthly paycheck but to one's life bank too. It is probably hard work and more likely luck but surely not by force that i have come thus far, so why the sense of lost or fear right?

Yes, it's done deal. Time to start making the most out of it. :)
